Ever since I was a young child, I have always had a passion for teeth. I can remember being a kindergartner and being very excited about immediate wiggling out any tooth that showed the slightest bit of movement. However, when I discovered that the teacher one room down from my own was known as the "tooth wiggler" and helped kids with their loose teeth, I was absolutely jealous! I didn't know it when I was in kindergarten, but what I wanted to be since that moment of discovery was a dentist.
I grew up in a small town in the panhandle of Florida, called Marianna. I worked hard in school and even shadowed my hometown dentist in high school to prepare for my future career. I went to a small liberal arts college in Birmingham, AL that prepared me well for the challenges of dental school.
I was excited to finally get to see my dreams realized when I graduated from dental school. I am proud that I am able to be a part of a profession in which I am able to help people every day just by going to work. It is very rewarding when I can help someone in pain or rebuild someone's smile so that they can go out into the world and better their lives. But, what I also truly enjoy about dentistry is all the relationships that I have developed with the patients that I have met over the years. I have come to find that going to work can be like going home. I am excited to be a part of the Levy Dental Team, and I am looking forward to meeting and treating new patients like you!
I enjoy spending time with my husband, Justin, and my beloved dog, Georgie. We enjoy outdoor activities, like hiking and fly fishing. But we have a great passion for traveling. I also enjoy gardening and cooking as ways to de-stress. And because my husband and I are from the south, we are, of course, fanatic college football fans.
